Hannover Messe 2009, the world's leading technology event
Deutsche Messe, organizer of the world’s largest technology event (Hannover Fairs), announced Hannover Messe 2009, the world’s leading industrial technology event that will showcase 13 leading trade shows at a single venue in Germany from April 20-24, 2009. The overarching theme at this year’s fair will be on energy efficiency in industrial processes and showcasing energy technology, as energy and climate continue to dominate as key issues in 2009. 2009 will also see the premier of the new international tradeshow ‘Wind’ as the boom in wind power continues. Industrial automation, energy efficiency, mobility, outsourcing, future oriented technologies and talented young human resources are the key highlights of the event this year.
Speaking at a press conference to formally announce the fair in India, Wolfgang Pech, Senior Vice President, Deutsche Messe said, “Hannover Messe has been increasingly chosen by Indian companies to showcase their latest offering as it provides them the best and most targeted global platform. It is also one of the few global events where quality of the visitors and exhibitors are high and thus their value derived even higher. The Indian pavilion at Hannover Messe has been among the best in the past and a representative sample of Indian skills, as global corporations establish themselves here to take advantage of high quality scientific talent and skilled work force in the manufacturing and service sectors.” “Around 2000 congresses, seminars and workshops will take place at Hannover Messe 2009. The WORLD ENERGY DIALOGUE in particular will attract a high degree of international attention and these are platforms that no company with a global outlook would want to miss,” he added.
More than 120 companies from India will participate in the fair. The leading Indian participants Crompton Greaves, Connectwell Industries, EMCO, Elgi Equipments, Fenner, Indo-US MIM Tec, Janatics India, Kalpar Engineering, Trident Pneumatics, Texmo Precision Castings, Sparage Seals, Selectron Process Controls, R R Kabel, Rotomag Motors & Controls, Powercam Electricals, Minilec etc. will present cutting edge technology across diverse sectors and explore international market potential and partnerships. Engineering Export Promotion Council ( EEPC) and Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturing Association (IEEMA)will organize group participation of their members in the fair.
