Clear the download history using the Clear List button
1. From the menu at the top of the Firefox window, select the Tools menu, followed by the Downloads menu item.
2. In the Download Manager, click Clear List.
3. The list of downloaded items is cleared.
4. Try to download the item again.
Re: Problem while downloading Firefox
Whats the link from where you are downloading firefox?
Use CCleaner to clean history, cookies etc, and then try again.
Re: Problem while downloading Firefox
Have you turn off your Windows Security? If not then try to disable it and then try again to download Firefox from the internet. If you face the same problem again then it seems to be that your Firewall or your antivirus program is not allowing you to download Firefox. For that you have to disable the active Firewall or your antivirus program that may be running on your system.
Re: Problem while downloading Firefox
Hey try to Configure your Firefox settings. See to it that it doesn't retain the download history. Follow the below steps to change your Firefox settings.
1. At the top of the Firefox windowOn the menu bar, click on the Tools Firefox Edit menu, and select Options...Preferences....
2. Select the Privacy icon.
3. In the History pane, uncheck Remember what I've downloaded.
4. Click OK to close the Options window.
Hope so it may help you out.:thumbup1:
Re: Problem while downloading Firefox
hi,
Try to download using the open with command and use a null value.
There is a folder called chrome and a setting of about:config. the latter needs to be typed into the firefox URL. Mozilla has a section for the values listed and how to configure each.
