Graphics card works only with VGA?
Have a completely new system:
Motherboard: Gigabyte EX58-UD5
Processor : Intel i7 920
Ram: 3x 2 GB A-Data PC 1600 CL9
Graphic: GeForce GTX 280
PSU: quiet straight power (700 W)
Now to the problem .....
If I use the latest drivers from the Nvidia site, I want to install a black screen where my desktop really should be! If I were at my monitor (Samsung Syncmaster 931BF) Souce to print, it analyzes the analog and digital connection a few times and then tells me no signal! But when I booted, everything is visible!
So, I can only start in safe mode and uninstall the graphic. disable update, so the win graphic operates only with vga and it works too!
The problem probably have more but I have still found no solution and I am now over 12 hours on the problem!
All drivers do not work!
I need your help !!!!!
Anyone had the problem and has it ever solved?
Thank you in advance in advance!
Re: Graphics card works only with VGA?
Is the cable OK?
Test times with another monitor!
Can you move?
Re: Graphics card works only with VGA?
Maybe the video card controls the monitor with a resolution / frequency that the monitor is not supported, then it remains black. (Yes, when something happens TFTs also )
Runs because the monitor Dvi, if you are running Windows in safe mode run?
I had the problem, why ever, but it was only on the second monitor to solve (on what I could see).
Re: Graphics card works only with VGA?
I have the driver for my Lcd MonInfo already using them in, as the sound through the receiver, the picture on the television run. I got something not as a finished driver.
Now that you mention it, I find that, the LCD display as the primary set (to other PES to play ) And the next day just the TFT was active. There was probably a conflict between the driver and monitor.
Ever Have you the correct monitor driver installed? For your spontaneously what I could find on google (931BF driver) and is certainly better than a 0815-noname-plug & play driver.
