Unable to change internet address

Hello,
for some time, I have a problem to change the address of the website: If I go to pages like http//yahoo.com/webmail/new/ and post http / / www.
I put the address of the site, then I click on the arrow and I had a new page that appears with my new website. Now I can not make this change. When I want to go on a new site, should I go in google to find this site !!!!! I understand nothing, I emptied all temporary Internet files, cookies, and history, but nothing happens! Could someone help me? Thank you in advance

You can do something easy. In Internet Explorer, go to INTERNET OPTIONS. Then in the home page area you can change it to whichever site you want or leave it as about blank and then below click apply. you close Internet Explorer and reopen it ... you should be ok!

Thank you for the answer. I tried but it does not work. I have already made my home page that it works, but when I want to open another site in the address bar where it does not work anymore.

my avast antivirus is up to date and I have the updates of Spybot that I had actually not been doing for some long time since I made a system restore also but it is always the same, Against by I found a solution, I can not remember where I found it, but it seems to work, I tried doing Ctrl + L and OK. in fact I realized that I could not confirm a new address, I think I should have next to address an OK button? but I have nothing.!
