Could it be that your SD board only takes DDR and not DDR2 SD? also it may be that your board only supports 2 GB!

What happens if you just get the new Ram in Slot 1 and use the old omit?
As far as differences are concerned, it is possible that the production simply Kingston has changed. In principle, it is the same RAM.
