Unable to change home page in internet explorer

Hey everyone,

I'm unable to change my homepage in internet explorer. It even does not allow me to write anything in the box. It display the message that the the writing is not active for editing.:crybaby: Can any one tell me how can change my homepage in internet explorer?

Hey try to browse to the page which you want to be your home page. Then Choose Tools-->Internet Options-->General Tab. And Under Home Page click on Use Current tab to set that particular page as your home page.

Hey the buttons are not active due to which i'm unable to change my home page.:crybaby: What can i do to activate that particular button?

Maybe it's time to change the browser...:bleh:

Try to follow the below steps mention.

1) Click on Tools up top-right

2) Click on Internet Options

3) Then select 'General' Tab and open it - if you have any homepage URL's/typed then try to delete it.

Then copy and paste the URL (address) or just type it in manually the one of the Homepage you want as your home page. Then click on 'Use current'.

Try to uninstall your internet explorer and then try to reinstall it. It may be that your internet explorer file may have been corrupted and not allowing you to set your home page.
