Battlefield 2 won't start

Hi,
However, after installing the new card Battlefield 2 will not start. the logo pops up, then the screen goes black, and then it quits back to the desktop with no error or message whatsoever. I reinstalled Battlefield 2 and made sure I have all of my latest drivers. The problem persists. Does anybody know of any solutions to this problem? I recently installed a new Visiontek HD 4870 video card in my system. Everything has worked perfectly. Crysis runs at 35+ fps.

The game works fine here with my 4870X2 and Vista X64 SP1.

Go to your Documents/My Documents folder, delete the Battlefield 2 folder, and then reinstall the game or reinstall the latest patch.
