Hi, I recently bought the sims 2 and in order for it to work you need to have DirectX 9.0c, so i downloaded it but its still not working and keeps on saying that i need to check that i have compatible graphic adapters and the correct drivers. How do i know which graphic adapters are correct for me and the correct drivers for them?
Did you Read the 'Read Me' file before installing Sims 2? i guess no. Is you system configuration upto the game's minimum requirements? if yes download updated drivers for your graphics card.

For a non-T&L capable video card, such as Intel Extreme Graphics or Radeon VE series, you need atleast 2Ghz Processor!
Thanks Mario! i downloaded the latest drivers from Geforce website. now the issue is it lags a bit! any solution for that?? i cannot play properly. it spoils the mood to play! anyways thanks for the previous help! [My processor is 2Ghz]
Try installing the latest DirectX from microsoft's website. Might help. i'm not sure though! Anyways, All the Best!
