Hello All
I just installed XP Pro SP2 during installation, i have skipped copying streamci.dll because of hanging CD. But now i am unable to install the sound driver. XP is up and running, however the sound does not work. I have used the motherboard CD to install the integrated audio but it tells me to insert the windows cd and tells me it cant find what its looking for. I have been getting that streamci.dll error.

Reason behind this error is conflict between line6 audio device and java 6. it's up to you whether the java service is more important than the sound card. solution may be disagreeable to some, but i solved it by typing the following into the command line:
c:\windows\system32\sc.exe delete java quick starter service
that completely deletes the java quick starter service.
Streamci.dll file is in windows/system32 folder if yours is missing download it here and drag it into windows/system32 folder through windows explorer.
