I have an Asus P5K/EPU ,intel dual core ,80gb hard disk, 1gb ram , as i start the computer it get hang while booting; as my friend insist i remove all extra hard ware like dvdrw ,hdd but still its not booting can any one tell me whats wrong with me? is there something wrong with processor ?
some time such problem occurs due to a simple battery. my pc had got stuck same way and after all i found little battery problem so try to change onboard battery that might work.
hi what you said i tried ;i have replaced the battery with new one but its still not working..?now what should i do ? is this my processor problem ??
now if nothing works for you .while booting the most important thing is bios if that fails nothing going to start .i think its your bios problem so update your bios ,and if not then might due to processor or else motherboard problem .

I have the same hang on boot. I have found that if the computer is turned OFF, wait five seconds, restart, it will not hang until after it has been shut down for some time (do not have the answer for how long). This doesn't fix aanything, is only a work around that works.
