My disk is constantly solicited
I recently updated my cpu, my card and I have reinstalled my OS.
I spend an Athlon 64 3500 + to an Opteron dual core 4800 + @ 2.8 GHz OC.
In a 7300GT to a HD4850.
Since the reinstallation of the OS, my HDD is always active ... I thought it was Vista so I am back to XP but idem whereas before it did not! In fact, I see it as a diode red box flashes when the drive has access to its contents. Before that it was blinking when a task was in progress or a diverse and stopped it when nothing was running. The unsightly was low but there is no stopping ... I wonder if it is not the new dual core cpu. It is therefore the installation of the OS and yet I see nothing special in the task manager.
Do I forgot to install something for this specific cpu (because from the OS and drivers, I will not install anything else)?
Thank you for your help because it draws the eyes during movie watching or should I switch off the LED, but if I could do otherwise ...
Thank you for your help.

Otherwise, what is the exact difference between this log and the Processes tab of Task Manager of Windows?
