Mac - Network preferences blocked
Hello,
I have a problem with "Network Preferences". When I open "Network Preferences" there is a window with the following message:
"Your network settings have been changed by another application."
and in this message I am asked to click OK. I click the beautiful message refuses to leave. Which forces me to use "Force Quit" so that this message disappears.
I did a lot of checking, certainly not all, because I can not open "Network Preferences" to make a change.
Who can help?
Re: Mac - Network preferences blocked
strangely had the exact same problem. I opened the folder preferences file library (Library) hard disk (ie not the home but the system). I threw the subfolder System Configuration. I restarted the system preferences open network and re-created my configuration.
Re: Mac - Network preferences blocked
It seems that this only affects those who have a PPP setting (which could explain that only a minority of machines are involved). Is this with you?
Re: Mac - Network preferences blocked
... the problem comes back after some time, the emptying of preferences does not solve anything permanently. The solution found in the aforementioned thread is:
Quote:
go to the Security preferences, and enable the option "Require password to unlock each secure system preference".
At least for me it seems to work.
