Use a second screen
I have my laptop, an Acer Aspire 1690, and although the display is great, I am often short of space!
I have a port to connect a screen (I can not remember the name, as in the printer but smaller, a port female - not a pig), I'd like to paste a small LCD or something like that . So I have 2 questions!
Is it that I can use at the same time 2 screens, that my current screen and inseparable from my laptop and a screen connected to this port? If yes, how?
I naturally sought but not yet found something productive on the subject.
Thank you in advance and good day!

Re: Use a second screen
You have two modes of use:
1 - The LCD screen is a replica of the computer screen. This is used for example when you make a powerpoint presentation that you are using an overhead projector rather than the LCD, and you want to project the same as you have on your screen.
2 - the LCD is the continuity of your computer screen. This is called the "extended desktop" and is accessible via the graphical properties.

Re: Use a second screen
can you tell me how it works? Is it the style I drag my window (admit my msn conversations) in the other screen? This works as differentiated or 2 screen is continuity from one another?
Thank you for your answer!

Re: Use a second screen
Yes it is the continuity.
You have a task bar that goes from one end to another (after my memories), and you can drag windows from one side to another.
Better yet, if you are on one side, and you spend your fullscreen window (the square next to the cross on the top right), well it will do so only on the screen or she is and not on both
