Problem with HP DV6000 webcam driver
I am having some issues with webcam drive . I also downloaded the WIN XP drivers for my model. Have tried to uninstall the previous drivers (if any) and also manually installing the drivers. None of these things seem to work.
Anyone who have idea about this problem can help me ?
Re: Problem with HP DV6000 webcam driver
The drivers for the webcam are pre-installed and an HP Webcam 1000 icon displays on the desktop. Double-click on the icon to activate the webcam. The blue light illuminated next to the webcam lens, just above the LCD screen, indicates the webcam is on.
Re: Problem with HP DV6000 webcam driver
Click Start, then right-click on My Computer, and then select Properties.
On the My Computer properties window, click on the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
Click on the plus ( +) sign next to Imaging Devices and locate the webcam item in the device list.
If the webcam is not listed, do the following activities to install the driver using the webcam driver recovery.
Click Start, click All Programs, click PC Help & Tools, and then click HP Application Recovery.
Select Driver installation and click Next.
