Problem of frequency with 9600GT
Hello, I installed on my computer a 9600GT (from the point of view) is for PCI-Express 2.0, I did away with the 1.0; frequency of the memory is normally 1800MHz is when I look on gpu-z (the last version it is only 900Mhz (normal because it's PCI Express 1.0 I imagine that has hampered its )
my question:
Could i mount frequency more memory to its original frequency with riva tuner without risk ?
Re: Problem of frequency with 9600GT
The version of PCI Express has nothing to do with the operating frequencies of your graphics card;)
The memory of the graphics card is a DDR (GDDR3 I suppose on hold), which means that each clock cycle it can transfer data 2. In fact, the clock frequency of 900MHz memory and is thus the frequency of data is double (1800MHz), GPUz give the clock, the sites of sales and manufacturers prefer to give the frequency of data. So in conclusion: all is well in your card.
