My scanner Canon FS 2710 is not recognized
Trying in vain to install my scanner Canon FS2710 on my computer.
My system is XP and my SCSI card is an ultra Advansys PCI.
I already have a SCSI drive installed and functioning.
When you start my computer, the scanner is not recognized but the connection must be good because it moves.
I do not know how to perform the setup between the internal SCSI hard drive and scanner at the terminal.
In the controller setup of termination is set automatically.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

I do not understand how you want to connect your scanner and why SCSI hard drive is involved in your connection.
Could you try to give us more details?
Re: My scanner Canon FS 2710 is not recognized
Well let me explain.
The Advansys SCSI controller card was already in my computer for driving to drive internal SCSI connection.
And it works.
Let me add my Canon film scanner connection with the external card.

Well, if I understood.
Either add a tablecloth out from my hard drive with internal SCSI termination, or I converted my scsi port scanner to connect to a USB port for thirty dollars.
The second solution is reliable? And in this case, the termination of my scanner is not important?
