Safari won't load

hi,
i have New HP DV2001TX Laptop ,running windows vista pre.it works fine but
the problem occur when i installed safari.
Every time when i try to use it doesn't load.I don't know why?I checked the firewall, and allowed Safari; still the same. And I'm not running a proxy that I know of. OR, is there something I could try to get Safari to load. When launch Safari it appears for a microsecond then dissappears.



can anyone help me out???

What does "won't load" mean? Does the program open and then close? Does an error message appear?

And, have you tried restarting the computer?

You say you don't think you are running a proxy. It wouldn't be usual to do so, but to double check, in Firefox goto Tools > Options, Advanced tab, Network tab within the Advanced option, then click the Settings button for Connection and make sure the option "Direct connection to the internet" is selected.

Safari may not load properly If these two files are corrupted.
Go to Home/Library/Safari/ folder and remove the following two files:

• history.plist
• lastsession.plist
