I have a little problem with my iMac G5 with OS X. I would like in safe mode (or whatever this means) and go to do something. Only problem is, if I use the buttons for the mode, press, then it remains so, and said the fans are turning full throttle.
My question: Why does it and why are the fans turning the gas?
PMU reset and reset pram, and then again restart?
The P ower M anagement U nit is a computer in the computer. Adjusts the power management.
If a Mac times for no apparent reason spins (freezes, is unstable, etc.) is recommended in addition to an unsuccessful PRAM reset (APPLE + ALT + P + R when you start hold) once the PMU reset.
Eg: I have a firmware update on my iMac Bluetooth module "lost" and could be a PMU-Reset again.
