Re: Windows 7 Beta: x32 bit or x64 bit
I have used 32bit version
- Enough for 2gb ram
- Almost everything is perfect for 32bit software and therefore must be in the running 32bit emulation -> performance loss
- Driver support for x86 version has proved better
Re: Windows 7 Beta: x32 bit or x64 bit
I haven't used it, but have heard that it is just a clone of Vista with some more graphics  :bleh:
Have some one tried Windows 7 in this forum .
Re: Windows 7 Beta: x32 bit or x64 bit
I use Windows 7 64 bit version
32bit has been with me since Vista exhausted.
Driver Support is, in my experience with the current hardware as well as 32bit. With Windows 7, I think finally the large-scale shift to 64bit come alone so that the discounter their PCs with 6 + GB of RAM and 2 GB graphics card can be utilized.
When I run both on the laptop as well as on the PC only 64-bit operating systems (both Vista 64 and Ubuntu 64 in dual-boot on the PC is now even more Windows 7 as a 64-bit version).
Only my little Eee PCs (900 and 1000) have yet 32bit operating system(Fedora 10 on the 900 and XP32 on the 1000h), since neither the Celeron or Atom N270 EM64T can be matched ...

I am using it. The 32-bit version RC.
Its good with WMP 12 and IE8.
The look and feel is better than Vista.
Never had any problem.
PC safeguard has been removed from the 7 RC. That I didn't like.
Otherwise its solid.:ohyeah:
