Overclock 7800 GT

HI all,

I have had these two 7800's for a few months and have never really paid attention to their performance, but then a friend asked what kind of frames I was getting for games like BF2 and Farcry. I downloaded fraps and found myself getting:

50-120 fps Far Cry with No AF and No AA with 1280 res full everything else
40-90 fps Battlefield 2 with 4x AA no AF with 1280 res full everthything else

I have the newest drivers and have both cards installed properly. Is their some setting Im missing that can send my frames up into the 100s???

My Specs:
AMD X2 3800+
2GB Corsair XMS DDR400 PC3200 Dual Channel
Sata Hitachi Deskstar 164GB
(2) 7800 GT OC Sli 425/1050
Seagate 600 W power supply
Thermaltake Tsumani Dream

I just ran 3d mark 05 and got an 10700, anyway why is 2.0 ghz a bottleneck? and is their any kind of cooling unit i should buy to keep the processor cool. I only have 4 fans. 2 big ones on the sides, one directly on the CPU and one on the PSU. Also will overclocking the CPU damage it?

your cards are waiting for your cpu. mine at 2.5 are slightly bottlenecking my cards. if you dont know how to overclock you need to read up on overclocking before doing so
