cticketmanager and windows stuck shutting down
Everytime I attempt to shut down the computer I get a message that cTicketmanagerWnd is stuck and asks if I want to End Now...
Pressing End Now makes the box go away eventually, but the computer will not shut down... sometimes it makes it to the "windows is shutting down" screen", but it never completely shuts down... have to press the power button.
It's Windows XP

Re: cticketmanager and windows stuck shutting down
Cant get much information about this cticketmanager and its problems. Well if you have installed any such program, then delete it and remove completely and then see if it is helping you a little.
Meanwhile, have a look at this article - End Windows XP shutdown problems
Re: cticketmanager and windows stuck shutting down
I think that it is a virus program, trying to launch, but cannot do so, coz of your anti-virus protection.
This sends crazy messages and prompts, to go to recovery state. The result is that, while the virus is able to do nothing, your computer issues prompts to the user, and then returns to earlier program state when nothing launches..
you can get rid of this application either by the startup tab on your windows menu, or using run from the start menu and typing msconfig from this you can check what is starting up when you turn on your pc, and uncheck what you don;t need.
use a registry cleaner and a mail ware detector to get rid of applications you didn't want and reduce slow shutdown.
Start>Run>type in MSCONFIG>go to the startup tab and there you will see the list of programs that run when you turn on your pc
