512 MB Graphic card does not recognize
i have an Desktop computer with xp pro and sp2 installed. i have a 512 Mb Graphic card enabled in my desktop computer.until my desktop computer froze(it often gets hot and freezes) and I had to restart. My wireless connection didn't come up so i went into the control panel and opened up my device manager where i could see the icon and it said "incompatible driver version found. unable to load application". I also have a yellow question mark in my device manager, with the heading "network controller".
please suggest me how should i make visible my Graphic card to my system.
please help suggesting some solution on it.

Re: 512 MB Graphic card does not recognize
Turned out that the BIOS needed to be updated before the card could be recognized correctly. The same might be the case for you, depending on the motherboard in your system. You may need to download and correctly install a BIOS flash upgrade.
Other than that, check that the card is firmly seated in the slot and that connectors are firmly attached. Also reset CMOS (by removing and replacing the CMOS battery if necessary) and try again.

Sounds like you have not turned off the onboard graphics in the BIOS
To do that restart the computer and start tapping the delete key, when in the bios look for onboard graphics and select "Disabled"
Now restart and then load the drivers for your new graphics card.
