What is the best media player?
An ultimate and best media player uses little system memory, fast performance speed in opening and playing media, has nicely designed, attractive and not confusing user interface. Least but not last, the player must have built-in all video and audio format and codec support, so that users no need to worry and have headache to unplayable media again.
VlC player is the best as it supports many video file extensions like .avi, .mpeg, .vob, .rmvb, etc.
Windows media player is the best Media Player .:thumbup1:
I use iTunes more , so for me iTunes is best :thumbup1:
I voted for Vlc Player... but KMPlayer is worth checking out too.

The best media player that i have come across has to Be Moovida.
It arranges all the media files on your computer in to its easy to use database while adding additional information to them. suchas for movie files it adds fan art an a movie synopsis

i use windows media player classic to play video files it plays all type of formats and has lot of functionality and for audio files i use winamp and windows media player 11.
