Try to install internet sharing on the laptop

Connect one end of crossover cat-5 cable to the laptop and other end towards the other pc

• Arrange a crossover cable.
  
• Take a hub a hub.
  
• Try to connect on one end a PC and vice versa.

After making the entire physical connection,
perform some changes PC's IP address so that they can be on the same subnet.

1. Go to Add/Remove Programs
   
2. Move to Windows Setup.
   
3. You will find an option Communications
   
4. Then click on Details.
   
5. Select the option next to Direct Cable Connection.
   
6. Try to connect ur pc and laptop using a parallel or serial cable.
