Defrag or optimizer for better vista performance

Hi,
I want to bust my Vista performance.
I was wondering what would be the best option for this?
Defrag or use Vista optimizer/tweaker which application will be better?
Please suggest me the best way to optimize my windows performance.

According to me defrag is a better way than optimizer/tweakerk, you can use Diskeeper for this purpose.

What you can do is just remember theses basic things.
1. Delete programs you never use
2. Limit how many programs load at startup
3. Defragment your hard drive
4. Clean up your hard disk
5. Turn off visual effects
6. Check for viruses and spyware
7. Disable services you don’t need
