Hi,
I wanted me to buy the HP nc6000 and know whether it is worthwhile.
CPU: Intel Centrino Mobile PM with 1.6 Ghz
RAM: 1GB 333 MHz DDR RAM
Video card: 32 MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 (2.0 pixel shader and T & L)
It is mainly used for work, so normal Microsoft Office, Photoshop and so on ....
do not have high graphics setting run.
Can you help me?
I had exactly this device and 768MB ram and you can thus fairly well-advised. I had purchased on 2003 and still works wonderfully. Gabs never problems with the thing, not a single time, very stable and robust device. I had the SXGA version, which is a razor-sharp image has! The graphics card is so nice ... radeon 9600SE, about as fast as radeon xpress in the wlan card had to be careful, only HP! even ne standard intel 2200BG denied the service! and times when it should be a problem, hp has a top support. Exactly one year before the display had a vertical stripe, have called hp who have the device on the same day and taken the next day brought back ... it was a complete display exchanged lid! I had never (and still is also never occurred) ........

Buying the HP Compaq nc6000 is a good inexpensive choice for anyone wanting both performance and portablility in their notebook. Not to mention the great battery life.
