Okay, so I bought this new HP headset. I was screwing around with a lot of audio properties, and now nothing works. :no:
Probably shouldn't have done that, but oh well. Now nothing on my desktop can have any sound whatsoever. I can't play my .wav files, the default windows noises don't work, absolutely nothing.

Go to device manager, remove your audio driver and reinstall it, reboot and try out the audio. should work. if this doesn't work, then detail your problem, like what excatlly have u done!
Is it your audio files working fine with speakers? First check your headphone with some other computer.? Which audio driver is installed?
You can simply check whether your Audio device working properly or not by playing simple MP3 files or you can also download the Codec files for your Media player.
