Cannot Play Dvd in Linux

Hi friends,
I have recently Install Ubuntu 8.10 On my PC.Whenever i am trying to play my DVd I am not able to doso.I have also tried to Download VLC Player but still it doesn't worked for me.Can anyone help me with this issue.

Try to download libdvdcss2 .I am sure it will work for you.
