Cooling of the shuttle

I have a shuttle sng95v3 from what I remember. Run as the Media and have gained a place in a rack under the TV. Here there was not so much air, where it was before so it has started making noise a lot more. Has anyone had experience with alternative cooling than the standard for a shuttle? It is rather limited in space in one. I did not really find anything other than the replacement of the fan.

I might need to buy a normal cpu cooler to fit in?

CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 socket 939.

Well if it is a socket 939 so you can just switch the cooler. Just check whether there is enough room. And also just check if it is not a cabinet fan that is speeding up. You could also choose to switch to noctua or similar low-noise blowers.
