Windows Xp having Old style shut down dialogue box

Hey everyone,

From last few days i'm getting the old style shutdown dialogue box, while shutting down my pc. Can any one help me out to get back my normal Xp shutdown menu?

It might be that you have chosen the Classic desktop.

Follow these steps and you would be able to regain your normal xp.

1) Right click on Start.

2) Then select properties and under that you will see Start Menu and Classic Menu. And there you can change it.

Hey i have tried out that steps but it didn't work for me. I would like to add further that, i have installed Rayalle Noir desktop theme to my computer. Is it because of that theme that i'm not able to get my normal xp shutdown menu?

Hey try to revert back your old theme and uninstall the Rayalle Noir desktop theme.:bleh:

I think it may be that you might not have put that particular theme in to the themes folder. Try to put that particular theme in to themes folder and i think you would be able to get back your normal xp shutdown menu.
