Small icons in Windows Vista start menu
I installed Windows Vista in dual boot with my previous Windows XP. Vista has large icons in the start menu. I want to make small icons in the windows vista. I have done it in windows XP but dont remember the procedure now. But I think the procedure for vista is different. Anybody is there to tell the trick?
Re: Small icons in Windows Vista start menu
Windows Vista uses large icons by default in the start menu, and it hides the setting for small icons pretty well.
- Right click on the start button, and select Properties:

- Then click the Customize button:

- Now scroll down all the way to the bottom. You should see a checkbox for Use large icons. Uncheck this box:

And you will get small icons in the Vista start menu.
