Problem after flash BIOS 8800 GTX
Hello everyone,
I had a problem after my attempt to overclocking. After several successful flash the bios of origin. I wanted to try to flash the BIOS on my 8800 GTX ULTRA suite has an article that I saw on another forum, the result is far from perfect
The graphics card is detected as a ULTRA but there are artifacts in games and some did not start at all. The problem I can not reinstall the bios more original, because I had made the "flash" with the software winfox II and that it only works with graphics cards of the same brand, namely LEADTEK
I try to get information about another way to flash my card, but the many articles that I saw leads to confusion.
I wish someone could explain exactly how to reinstall my original bios, taking into account the fact that I do not have a floppy drive.
Re: Problem after flash BIOS 8800 GTX
Well, finally I managed all alone.
Re: Problem after flash BIOS 8800 GTX
can you explain the procedure ? and what is the purpose of flashed his card?
What it changes relative to the original bios ?
Re: Problem after flash BIOS 8800 GTX
Well I followed the procedure for one of the many tutorials available
I therefore create a boot disk ms dos
(My Computer> right click on the floppy drive> format> to create a boot disk back)
I then put on my freshly formatted floppy Nvflash software and the bios that I wanted to install
(Bios renamed bios.rom ")
I took it through the bios of my motherboard to give priority to my floppy drive (USB). After a restart MS-DOS was launched and have the following
nvflash -4 -5 -6 bios.rom-y

When you "tweak" your card, or rather that you want pulled max of the card, you test your o / c maximum, then you put frequencies stable. You can also change the latencies of memory chip, in order to gain some performance .Sometimes, much lower latency, you can save a gain, a lower frequency, which means that your ram heater least.
Then, you apply everything in the bios and you flash (always keep the original backup), You can change the vCore with nBitor and still is not with the cards .Sometimes it does not. For flash, nvflash does the job
