hello Everybody , i Would like to know how can we uninstall sound card drivers . i m using windows xp professional with service pack 2 . the reason i m asking this i got to purchased a news sound card and want to install it but first i would like to know how to uninstall the drivers for current sound card as i think it might get conflict it please help thanks
- Click Start and run option
- type Device Manager in the run dialog box, and then press ENTER.
- In the Device Manager dialog box, expand Sound, video, and game controllers.
- Locate the audio device that was included with the computer.
- Right-click the device, and then click Properties.
- Click the Driver tab, and then click Uninstall.
you can also check under add / remove program option under control panel to see if there a sound card utility install or not if it is there then uninstall from there your problem will be solve Hope it help you
