Can't login to hotmail account

Hi,
I am facing this login problem with hotmail in my firefox as well as windows explorer both browsers & don't have any idea what is the reason for this?
When i type www.hotmail.com in address bar my browser redirects me to another page for username & password & after that it says done & gives me a blank screen don't know why is it happning? Can you guys help me out?
Is it due to any malicious program or virus?

I think you have some of the windows files missing or corrupt!
Just put your windows CD in & type sfc.exe /scannow in run & then restart your system & see if this helps you!

I have scanned my system twice but still having problem with hotmail account.

I think it is a cookie or any temporary file in your temp folder.
Just clean your system with some cleaner or just follow this.
C: right click & properties.
In General Tab click disk cleanup.
Check
Temporary Internet Files
Downloaded Program Files
Recycle Bin
Click Ok

Hey what about your security options & firewall settings?
Have you tried disabling or uninstalling your firewall?
