Config for assemble videos

I would like to make a small assembly videos and I want to know if my pc has the correct configuration for its

Intel Core2 Duo 2.66 GHz
3GB RAM
motherboard asus P5K
graphics card Geforce 8600 gts

what I think, because I think it was the question, your config would be appropriate for your little editing videos, but do not expect a record in 5 minutes of editing with effects for a video 1h30.
