Remote problem with Vista
Hello everyone,
I got an iPhone and I quickly installed "Remote" application to control its iTunes library.
The problem is that on my PC running Vista (ethernet) iTunes recognizes the iPhone, therefore I come after the code and then I get the message: "Library not found".
I tried on my old PC running XP on the same LAN, it works wonderfully!
So I realized that something was blocking Vista...
So I disable the firewall, the UAC, enable file sharing, network discovery and so there is nothing I know what to do.
What I know is that Vista blocks incoming connections.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Re: Remote problem with Vista
This is not Vista that blocks: at my home it works well, and with UAC active.
I have no firewall on my position, not even that of Windows.
As against, it is necessary that iTunes is launched.
Re: Remote problem with Vista
Here I just tried to launch iTunes administrator ,anything done!
But it does not work in vista for me and with XP on the same LAN it works!
What you have like AV?
thank you for your answer
Re: Remote problem with Vista
Allow sharing of libraries in the settings of iTunes.
