Need an affordable tape drive for a PE840

We have a PE840 server and have outgrown the tape drive. Dell advises only a very few selections that are "supported" by the PE840, all of which are either too small or way too big. Two questions:

Do I really need to worry about the tape drive being "supported" by this specific server or will most tape drives work?

Does anyone have a PE840 with a 100/200 tape drive that is working well?

Dell PE840 Server supports a large scale tape drive (need not worry much about it) as well as External Storage Devices. (Tape Drive is an optional feature for PE840).
But its always better to check for the compatibility of the tape drive with your server.
