Renaming My Pictures and My Music folder in Vista
Good evening
Since my office PC (XP Home) I transfer files in my Laptop (Vista) using UltraBackup, everything works well except for the folders: Pictures and Music. In XP I rename pictures in My Pictures and My Music in Music to be identical to Vista, but when I transfer a new file is created in Vista (XP icons) and I find myself with 2 pictures and music files and Vista files are empty. In Vista by right-clicking I realized that the Pictures folder called Pictures (mark it with Avast Analise Pictures) Music and the Music folder renaming files in XP Pictures Music and more problems. What I would like to know if you can rename the folders Pictures and Music in Vista Pictures and Music for me to be more user-friendly.
Thank you for your help.

Trying for several hours I finally found the solution and I will give
It is in the registry that this happens.
In registry you should go:
- HKEY_USERS
- DEFAULT
- Software
- Microsoft
- Windows
- CurrentVersion
- Explorer
- User ShellFolders
- Click on the My Music or My Pictures
- My Music REG_EXPEND_SZ% USERPROFILE% \ My Music
- Changing the string:
- to rename it as: My Music REG_EXPEND_SZ% USERPROFILE% \ Music
- Do the same for Pictures.
- Put Music or My Music, My Pictures or Pictures
