Installing Office 2007 in Vista
I have a brand new laptop running windows vista and a brand new microsoft office 2007 cd and product key. I'v never use vista before. When I insert the cd, I get the run setup.exe popup and go to a screen that get a bar that shows progress on "configuring" office. It says it is successfully "configured" and then I can't find Word etc. in the "programs" menu, even after restarting. It never asks me for a product key. How do I install this thing?
Re: Installing Office 2007 in Vista
Never mind. It was in a "folder" instead of being laid out as individual icons. that is so weird. Once I clicked on an icon in the folder it asked fro the product key.

So did you entered the product key? And is your MS Office working now? Actually, it asks for the product key before installing. I wonder how you were able yo install MS office without the product key.
