Can't Hear Internet Radio Stations
Whenever I am trying to listen Internet Radio I am not able listen to it, I am getting error message saying that " Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The server might not be available or there might be a problem with your network or firewall settings." Can you please tell me How to fix this problem with my media player.
Re: CAN'T HEAR INTERNET RADIO STATIONS
It seems to me that the internet radio stations is blocked in the firewall settings. So to unblock it follow the below steps:
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- Type wscui.cpl, and then click OK.
- Click Windows Firewall.
- In the Windows Firewall dialog box, click the Exceptions tab, and then click Add Program.
- In the Add a Program dialog box, either select the program from the list that appears, or click Browse to locate your program.
- After you select your program, click OK.
- On the Exceptions tab, make sure that the box next to your program is checked, and then click OK.
Re: CAN'T HEAR INTERNET RADIO STATIONS
Because Windows Firewall with Advanced Security blocks all incoming unsolicited network traffic by default, you need to configure program, port, or system service rules for programs or services that are acting as servers, listeners, or peers. Program, port, and system service rules are managed on an ongoing basis as your server roles or configurations change.
