What Experiences Have You Done With 3 Monitors?
I wonder just how comfortable these days 3 monitors use.
My current setup:
GeForce 8600 GT
Monitor Center: 19 ", 5:4, 1280 * 1024, the primary display device
Monitor Right: 19 ", 5:4, 1280 * 1024
Dualview (ie not a large, horizontal desktop)
So rather unspectacular.
Let's say I would give me a new, additional buy Monitor:
Monitor Links: 19 ", 5:4, 1280 * 1024
Monitor Center: 24 ", 16:10, 1920 * 1200, the primary display device
Monitor Right: 19 ", 5:4, 1280 * 1024
As these monitors could be operated at the most comfortable?
The simplest solution would be an additional graphics card to buy, right?
Suppose I would be the existing GeForce 8600 GT for the two secondary monitors, and for the primary monitor an additional graphics card to buy. What problems can be expected?
The goal is:
- The new, mid-monitor graphics cards 1 should be operated.
- The secondary monitors left and right to be with 2-graphics card will.
- Important: Tripleview and no large, horizontal desktop.
Is this possible or if complications should arise? Probably the latter?
What experiences have you done with 3 monitors?
Re: What Experiences Have You Done With 3 Monitors?
If you have a second NVIDIA card use should be fairly easy to work.
What do you mean Dual View?
Re: What Experiences Have You Done With 3 Monitors?
In Dualview (so called the Nvidia Control Panel) covers only the taskbar on the primary monitor.
Re: What Experiences Have You Done With 3 Monitors?
I got the setup almost exactly as described:
1: 8800GTS 512 - DVI 1-24 "@ 1920 * 1200
2: 8800GTS 512 - DVI 2-18 "@ 1280 * 1024
3: 6200TC - DVI - 18 "@ 1280 * 1024
On the desktop, the Monis so:
[2] [1] [3]
Logically, the displays are arranged:
[2]
[1] [3]
So, I mean go on the 24 "come up and then left on to Moni ... why? Na because I have the taskbar on the left side of the desktop and on AutoHide tab.
