how is it possible that at least the graphics card in the console does not need new drivers?
When pc sometimes violent, there are errors or performance dips with old drivers.
In the console, there are more than the entire lifetime of only one driver and one directx.

In principle, something consoles do not. The PS2, for example, has been almost 9 years on the market and has some hardware revisions through. Nevertheless, all PS2 games on the oldest versions of the same. Because the hardware and software (including drivers) on all consoles a generation are the same, it is obviously for the developers much easier, "standard" program.
