Facing problems while formatting my pc

I'm unable to format my pc. At the start i change my cd rom as the first bootable device. After that it display on the screen that press any key to boot from the cd, but my computer didn't show anything on the screen. I proceed further to complete the installation process and at the last part it displayed me to restart the pc. It showed me that you have finish the Windows setup and now you need to restart your pc. After restarting your pc it will continue with the setup, so i did the same. But after restarting my pc, it went to Windows setup and ask me whether "you want to repair" just like it showed me at the beginning of the process. I went ahead and did the same, but after re- booting the pc the same thing was repeated again and again.

I don't know what exactly to do. Can anyone help me out with this problem? Or it's the problem with the cd?

Have you removed the Windows cd after completing the installation?

No, infact i didn't remove the cd.

Hey just remove your cd and again try to reboot it .
