Uninstalling AVG Antispyware
Hello everyone. I have to uninstall AVG Anti-Spyware in panel, programs and features. The program has disappeared from the list of programs and the "Start" menu, but when I looked at the C drive in Explorer, I found that there was still a folder with the name "Grisoft ", the manufacturer and in this case a" AVG Anti-Spyware "and in the latter case a file named" campaign.dll. Having found nothing in Google, I am addressing the security experts of the forum.
- Can I safely delete DOSS "Grisoft" and everything in it?
- Does the file "campaign.dll" is a spyware?
- and in this case do I destroy it with Malwarebytes?
I do the opposite do not touch? Thank you for help. I'm afraid to make a stupid and crash my computer.
Re: Uninstalling AVG Antispyware
Hello.
"Grisoft folder" This is of no use. You can remove without any problem.
is this folder there in Application Data or programs?
Re: Uninstalling AVG Antispyware
Thank you,
The file is now not in "Programs." But there is in "ProgramData", an identical dossier entitled "Grisoft" containing another folder called "AVG Anti-Spyware", which contains a folder called" Downloads ", which contains a file called" help.dll" . Do I have to delete the folder "Grisoft" in both "Programs" and "ProgramData"? Thank you .

OK. I deleted the two files Grisoft and restarted the computer. Both files have disappeared and the computer seems to function normally. Thank you for your help. :notworthy
