Re: Having issue with Linux.
Hey dude try to download a live version of Linux and then burn a disk. Keep that disk safe and when ever you feel confidences about yourself and wants to learn something new, then just insert that disk in your cd rom and go to the Bios. then set your computer to boot from cd rom, before the Hdd starts running the installation process. Restart your computer and it will ask you whether you want to run Linux from the disk, then say yes and wait for the installation process to be completed. In the similar manner i do on the most of the computers.
Re: Having issue with Linux.
There are limited ways to run Linux by keeping still windows in it. In that one way is to use a vitual machine application in windows, which basically runs a virtual operating system with simultaneously running another one. It is safe and easy to switch back. But it also have many drawbacks related to computer speed or limited space available on the disk.
The second way is to create a partition on your hard drive. It means dividing into two or multiple pieces, inorder to boot up Windows or Linux in it. Another thing is that they wouldn't change and if the best possible way i can suggest you is that you just download a Linux Live-cd. It will help you to boot directly, and will help you while installing it.
Hoping for the best that this would help you out.
