Microsoft Windows Security Center Disabled

Today when I tried running windows Updates, I got error messages. First it came up saying the windows security center is disabled and I cannot get the updates. Later I received one more saying “A program has corrupted your default search provider settings. IE has reset this to original provider.”

I’m not the computer geek but as mentioned in the error message, I thought enabling the security center will fix the problem. I tried to search the option from where I can do the same but dint got any. Can anyone here please tell me from where can I enable Windows Security Center?

Do you have any Antivirus installed on your system at present? If yes, you must update the same and scan your complete system for Spyware or malware because To me it sounds like your computer is infected. The best I can suggest you is download Malwarebytes and Spybot Search & Destroy and run the scan.
