I am confused on how to reduce the file size of photoshop ABR files. I created the brush in photoshop and the file size of that ABR came to be around 80MB. I created the ABR file in 72dpi (in web document) in photoshop. What is the possible way to reduce the size of 80MB ABR files to 6 or 7MB ABR file.
Can I borrow an idea ? That would be a great help.
The main reason for you increased file size of the .abr format is that you are save your set brushes with all the available preset of brushes.
First you reset all the brushes from the brushes palette, then add only the brushes you want to save. This can done by defining he brushes from the edit menu in photoshop.
Finally save this brushes preset in the .abr format and you can see the reduced file size.
My ABR size came around 1.10MB. That was a great rescue for me.
