hi,
i have intel 845mobo, 512ram, Presario FX Series Monitors V910,running windows-xp.
my monitor suddenly stop displaying while playing game,movie i rty asmuch as possible to solve the problem.i think this happen due to my graphics card, I tried once switching to the motherboard graphics while the computer was on and the image came back, but after not too long even that image gave out and my system seemed to die. can anyone help me???

i have also the same problem i try to shut down my pc,running windows98
error message indicates,i am also using Compaq Monitors.
so is that anything wrong with my computer or it's windows problem?

i think this problem can occur because the version of Universal-Serial Bus support software included with some FX-series monitors is not fully compatible with Windows 98.
i use windows xp. i bring it back by pressing the power button and sometimes that does the trick. if that doesn't work i'll switch the monitor plug to my other video card (motherboard), and sometimes that works. if those don't work i pull the plug.
Install the most current version of the Universal-Serial Bus support software for FX-series monitors from Compaq.you can get more information from here.
