Having problem in USB Mouse.
I'm facing a problem from last few days, my mouse get stuck in between and it moves randomly to the bottom right of my screen when i tried to move it towards the top left of my screen. It do not happen frequently, it happen sometimes only. And that irritates me a lot:furious:. Can anyone help me to sort out this problem?
This is the kind of specification that i've related to pc is concern.
Technical Specifications:
* Windows Xp Sp3 Media Edition
* Dell Inspirion e1705
* Mouse:Ibm (This one i've for last 5 years and don't know much about it)

Hey first try to check your mouse settings by clicking on Control Panel-->In that Mouse and see whether there is anything wrong with the settings.

It can be due to some thing wrong with the mouse or the mouse itself must be broken. Anyway do you have an extra mouse with you so that you can interchange with it and see that whether it works better than your old IBM mouse?

Hey it seems to be a hardware problem. Can you tell me whether you are using a Laser or Ball mouse?
According to me it seems to be a Laser mouse problem, because according to your specification it seems to be like that only. Generally Ball mouse do not have such problem and it moves right but very slowly. but it seems to fine while moving in all directions.
In this case try to change the mouse pad and see whether it helps you or the best way is to replace the mouse.:biggrin:
