ASUS P5WD2-E Premium

I was thinking of getting the Xonar D2X.I have the P5WD2-E Premium motherboard.

1. I was wondering if the size of the card is large enough to hit the RAM slots. Will it fit, due to its length?
2. Also the PCI-e x1 slot is just above the PCI-e x16 slot where my vga is. The vga is EN9600GT silent. Since they are really close, they might even touch each other and i was wondering if the Xonar can take the heat that is emmited fromn the vga.

1. On the PCI-e x1 the card hits the first RAM slot. I moved my 2 RAM sticks to the secondary RAM slots and was OK.
   
2. Hopefully yes, But not sure yet.

Thanks for your reply, I have one more doubt . Since i only use 1 VGA, the 2nd PCI-e x16 is free. I was wondering if i could install the D2X there? I know it can generally be done, i just want to specify that the P5WD2-E can do it, because there is a chance it can't.

You can't install the card on the 2nd PCI-e x16 slot, it is not even recognized on this Motherboard.
